Student Organic Farm

The Good Earth Student Farm's mission is to promote hands on experience with agriculture and ecology while producing local food for students and the community. It is located at the ISU Horticulture Research Station.

Projects and efforts that support Live Green!: 

Grow a half-acre organic vegetable garden annually

The space is improved annually as participants donate their ideas and energy

How to Get Involved: 

CSA Membership

Own your share of seasonal vegetables from May - October.  Shares can be purchased for $400 or exchanged for 50 hours of volunteer labor throughout the growing season. Application Required

Plot Rental

Rent a 20' x20' plot to grow your own garden at the SOF.  Application required

Volunteer

Come out during the season and volunteer in exchange for seasonal vegetables
